Sunnyside is a vibrant town in Central, Washington with a population of 17,000. The City of Sunnyside is the second largest city in Yakima County and is 30 minutes from Tri-Cities and Yakima, Washington.

Sunnyside has a rich history in the agriculture sector and is home to dozens of large dairy farms. Sunnyside is proud of our Hispanic heritage! Nearly 90 percent of our residents are of Latino heritage. The vast majority of our residents are from Mexico and have strong ties to the country. We have one the biggest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the Pacific Northwest. We are also home to more authentic Mexican restaurants per capita than any other city in Washington state. We are known as "Taco Town USA" for our incredibly authentic Mexican food. We are proud of this title!
